I think you can definitely get away with it. It is very pretty. Maybe some kind of purple shawl or wrap to make it more season-appropriate?

I agree - wiith 'heavier' makeup and accessories it's also more 'fall'

Thanks - it's just on my mental list for now. I tend to start looking early bc I have such a hard time finding things I like, especially dresses with sleeves. It's for my DD's christening. The party is at our home so I don't want to be too dressed up.

Nordstrom has some cute dresses and some are on a good sale right now.
I've got a few in my cart but nothing to wear them for.

i think its perfect... weather is iffy in oct but i always think of my wedding which was mid oct and a perfect 80 degree day, so 1st week in oct that dress should be good-to-go!
