is this menu good...
for xmas eve...
appetizers:
cheese platter
shrimp platter
hot app platter of mozz sticks, fried ravioli and japelpeno bites (for BIL)
veggies with a clue cheese dip
a escargot (snails) spread for my mom.. she loves it!!
Dinner (not sit down):
Salad
Baked Ziti
Platter of Assorted Wraps
Fried Calamari w/ sauce
Dessert:
Pastry PLatter
Brownies
Cookies
Dessert Shells with fresh fruit & cool whip
we are having 12 people we dont have enough space for a sit down
so some will be sitting in the DR some will be in the LR

Mine will be similiar:
appetizers:
cheese platter (yes)

veggies with a clue cheese dip (yes)
a escargot (snails) spread for my mom.. she loves it!! (umm, no...lol)

Fried Calamari w/ sauce (no)
Adding: Meatballs, a fried turkey, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole and stuffing
Dessert:
I'm going to buy a couple of pies and a chocolate cake
I'm having 20 ppl at my house and I'm not sure how I'm fitting everyone. I'm VERY nervous about it. I've done 14 at my house and it was tight, 20 scares the crap out of me!

I think that sounds good...Not sure if the wraps fit in either but like you said, if you are craving it, then go with it!!!!

it's not a craving...
just dont want to cook... what else can i get to make with it... I dont want all italian either.. like adding chicken parm or something... the next night i'm making chicken marsala for DH's family

hmm, see for us, we don't eat meat on Christmas eve....What if you kept the wraps but made sure they were eggplant, veggies & some chicken ones.
