Is this normal?
I got my hair colored and cut on Friday, September 9. I am going for a touch-up this Friday, October 7. Is this the norm?

I personally don't think you need touch ups that often.  Your hair still looked colored to me--no roots showing yet. I think they always recommend much earlier than you really need to go in. I think I could do a month and a half to two months for touchups, with 3 or 4 months for color.

I only do highlights and I usually go every 2 months or so. If you have full color, your roots might be showing sooner. I stretch it out as much as possible since it is $$$
