Is this not a good deal? Selling a gift card...
I put a Children's Place gift card on craigslist since I need the money more. It's a $95.80 gift card and I was selling it for $75.00. Someone offered me $60.00. I just feel like that's waaaay too low to be asking me for? Am I asking too much for it? I haven't tried to go to the store and sell it to someone yet. With my schedule and 3 kids it's hard to even make it to that store since it's not close by. Be honest!

if you're selling it because you want the money then i would hold out for more.

I'd try to split the difference w/ $65. I'd be too embarrassed to approach strange people in the store asking if they want to buy it. Maybe they thought you'd compromise on $65 or 70.

That's a really good deal. I wouldn't take the $60.
Definitely hold out.

Re: Is this not a good deal? Selling a gift card...
I'd try to get them to come up to $70 and if not, I think $60 is still $60 that you sound like you could put to good use.
You are battling over $15 which is yes, still $15 but if you need the money...$60 is a decent offer in my opinion.

being that you have kids and with school coming up, I would KEEP the card and use it for school clothes.. I wouldn't sell it for less.. you'll be losing money on it

I would do this, but their clothes don't fit my kids good for some reason.

ITA.
Its almost $100 that you dont have to spend on them, out of pocket and use it online if you dont want to get to the store.
Shipping is always $5.
Your DD is small and can use a lot of their clothing.

Their clothes fit weird on my child too.
I would not list it on ebay, you will be paying at least 10% between ebay fees and paypal fees.
I would tell them you will accept $70 or no deal.

I'll buy it!
ETA: I understand about clothes from certain stores not fitting right. We have no luck at Target, Old Navy and only some for Gap. Carter's fits my youngest well (he's still an infant) but not my oldest. The only luck we have is at Children's Place!

I'd love to sell it to you but I'm in NC, lol. If you know of a way to do it, I'd be happy to. I trust you guys more than someone from craigslist.

Re: Is this not a good deal? Selling a gift card...
It's good to know that my kids aren't the only one's that certain clothes don't fit them. Old Navy doesn't fit them well either and I can't afford the Gap. Target fits my DD ok but she's only been in Rompers from them, but the boys clothes fit my sons horribly too. Carters were the only clothes I could get for them until they were older and wore boys sizing. Now, they wear different brands.
I personally don't really like Carters styles lately. It used to be different. Now they've turned more into preppy style and my kids are so not preppy!

If no one buys it from here, you could sell it to Gift Card Granny. I read about them in Real Simple magazine. They buy gift cards (at various percentages) and then resell them. No shipping or hidden fee charges according to their site.
