Is this ok at 33 weeks - vaca related?

So I was planning to go away for a few days (thurs-sund) with dh this weekend - something within a 3-5 hr drive(maybe longer with traffic) each way. Cape may or lake george most likely. Anyway I will be 33 wks and so far ive been feeling pretty much fine.

When I told my parents they were like - shouldn't you take it easy? are you sure its a good idea? etc etc. I never thought twice about it until now - do you thinkk its ok?

I went away about 3 hour drive when I was like 33/34 weeks - no issue. I talked to my dr first see if she thought it was fine since I had false labor with my 1st pregnancy at that that time and I went early with my first but she was fine with it - also at my growth sono my fluids measured low this time and she still said it was fine.

At 33 weeks, I think that's fine-your DH will be with you and in the rare case that something goes wrong they have hospitals. I probably wouldn't fly, but I see nothing wrong with a 3-5 drive. For me personally, the most comfortable place is in the car so I would take advantage (I'm 33W5D).

I would go. I flew from NY to Ireland at 32/33 weeks.

I don't think it's a problem. Call your doctor just in case.

I'm going to Cape May next weekend. It's so cute there. Chat Icon

I would go, you need time to yourselves and as long as your trip is going to be a relaxing fun one - why not? Enjoy!
