Is this ok for a wedding? updated with new choices
DH is the best man at our friend's wedding. He will be in a tux. Is this dress fancy enough to wear?
It's a saturday night wedding in September at the sheraton hotel.
I was thinking of getting rid of the cap sleeve and making it sleeveless. would that help?
how would you accessorize this?

I don't think it's fancy enough for a Saturday evening affair. Afternoon, maybe but not for the evening.

It's a pretty dress, but I think it would be better suited for an afternoon wedding, especially since your DH will be the best man/in a tux.

That's what I thought too, but was hoping maybe there was a way to dress it up.
I guess i'll just leave it for next year and DS's communion.
Any ideas where i can look for a fancier dress that is plus-size?

Dress barn has a great selection , I agree.
You can always find something at Macy's or lord n Taylor.
I just went to L&T and got a dress for 30% off. Was great.

I think it's nice but it's not formal enough for evening especially if your DH is the best man. If you like the dress and it fits great you should buy it anyway, it's a nice dress for less formal events.
