Re: is this too small for a master bedroom???
We have a king sized bed, so I think it would be too small for us. We wanted a room that would fit a king bed and 2 nightstands, with room to spare.

That would be too small for us. Our furniture wouldn't fit.

our master is 13x11 and we have Queen bed, two nightstands, and two dressors. And we still have room to walk. It would be tight but do-able.

I think it depends on the size of your furniture as well as the position of the door, closet and window(s).
Can you fit everything you want into it?

I think the 9' would be tight ... a standard king is 76" x 80" (6.3' x 6.6') so less than 3 ft at the end of the bed.

ITA - and if you have a bed frame that juts out at all (headboard and footboard could bring you to close to 7' and then you'd only have a couple of feet left, you know?).
If you have a smaller bed and not much furniture (but do have closet space), then it could work.

It sounds a little tight. Ours is 12x17 and still feels a little tight.
