Is your baby a Loud Sleeper?
Are your babies loud sleepers? Or do they not make a peep when they sleep?
DD does this breathing thing that makes me nervous. I told the ped and he didn't seem concerned. It's almost sounds like she's hyperventilating...not in the sense where she's taking rapid breathes, but it sounds like she's straining to breath. Is this common?

Re: Is your baby a Loud Sleeper?
Sometimes she makes all kinds of noises in her sleep and sometimes she's as quiet as a mouse. I love when she laughs while she's dreaming!

I can hear Maddie sucking her thumb from our room.
I'm not sure if the hyperventalting thing is very normal. I would tape it & have the doctor listen to it.

Nope, I don't hear a peep out of her until she wakes up. I hear an occassional noise once in a blue.

Re: Is your baby a Loud Sleeper?
DS is a grunter! Also, my cousin is a ped and she says some babies do breathe abnormally. Almost like they have to catch their breath (sort of even like apnea). I do find that sometimes it is is scary and you should check with your doctor to make sure it isn't something more. Like someone else said, maybe you can tape your baby?
