i just went on zillow and my house seems like its appraised on the low side is it accurate?

Nope..
I know with accuracy that the value of our house is much higher than it is listed on Zillow.
I also know for a fact that a friends house recently appraised for much lower than it was estimated on Zillow.

I don't think its anywhere close to accurate! I just checked my home, it says its worth 1.2 million! dollars   
Way over the top!
Wait, sorry, it says 1.9 million!

Absolutely unreliable. It doesn't take into account any work you've done (or haven't done on your house). I don't necessarily expect that everything someone does to their house to be reflected in the selling price if sold today but I think a house with a new roof vs one that was never updated, new siding, central air, general updating of various rooms including kitchen, finished basement, etc. vs old stuff - all that is not reflected in zillows px.

haha me too!!!
I don't think zillow is very accurate though. There are so many things taken into account when determining the value of a home. Some things zillow has no way of knowing.

Zillow is totally off. My home appraised $100K higher in real life than what was posted on their site. It makes me with how they come up with their numbers.
