Honestly, I am not that crazy about the dress. Lots of satin. It is still pretty though! I love the shoes and hat.

I love the gown. My dd's christening gown was very long too - personal choice I guess but I love long gowns. I think they are classic and beautiful.

DD's gown was long - honestly I don't think I saw any that weren't long.

No, you do not sound stupid asking at all. Most christening gowns I have seen are long. My DD christening gown is 48 inches long which is pretty long.
