I just had a memory....back in the early 80's....yes, the heyday. I was at a game with my Uncle, and I was yelling LET'S GO ISLANDERS off the top of my lungs. Brian Trottier was my favorite. I still swear to this day he turned around and looked at me, acknowledged me and bobbed his head.  I nearly FLIPPED
My uncle always preferred going with me rather than my older sisters (this is what my aunt told me, that I was pretty much is favorite  )- he felt I really understood the game. Man, I had to be under 10 years old then!
