Isn't it funny how things work?
I want to just say that I am not really upset by this, I just find it bizarre how the world is.
One of my BF's has been rooting for me to get PG since DH and I started. We have been friends for over 15 years. She has seen me go through my divorce, bad relationships, struggling, etc. She was so happy for me when DH and I got together. And she really has been supportive through this whole TTC thing. BTW, we are both 41. Now she has been married since 22 to the same guy. They have two kids - DD who is almost 13 and DS who is 8. I stop by to visit her last nite and she is acting weird (BTW, she's been a little off with me for the last week or so) and finally she tells me that she is PG (like almost 3 months, she only figured it out on Halloween). She felt bad telling me cuz she knows what we have been going through, but at the same time she really didn't want this and I guess needed someone to talk to.
I just find it amazing sometimes how those who want a baby soooooooo bad, like all of you ladies on here, have to fight so hard for it and then other people blink and get PG.

I've had several friends get pregnant, also. I feel like so many people are just "lucky." Both of my friends had babies, went for the second kid and got pregnant on the first shot. I'm happy for them, but it's still very frustrating.

It is upsetting and frustrating. I see moms at the library who bring their 2 yr olds to the kiddie programs, and they're almost 9 months pg with the second (or sometimes 3rd) child.
It is such a gift, and I don't begrudge them, but sometimes it's hard to see.
:hug and to everyone!!!!!

Re: Isn't it funny how things work?
I was just browsing on this board and am not a regular poster here but I do have an opinion.
It hurts me to see children born into situations where the families are not emotionally or financially capable of caring for them. Unfortunately, I see this more often than I'd like to. I know many people who struggle with fertility who have EVERYTHING from money to a home to insurance and I hurt for them when it comes so easy to people who cannot or really do not want to handle it.
