Israeli Shampoo: Take Two!
OK, I did the AHAVA products for a few weeks (until the bottles were gone). They were great - definitely better than any shampoo I've used here.
However, it was not the same as I remember the first time I used Israeli stuff (when I was 16 lol). Stroke of luck! An Israeli woman came into work the other day and we were chatting - I noticed her accent and right away told her how great their hair products are.
I asked for a recommendation and she told me Careline products are the best. Aviglatt.com had them and they were priced great. I bought Shampoo, Conditioner and a hair mask by Penina Rosenblum! Mazel!!
A full review to come
I think this will be IT!!

If you're even in Brooklyn, Avi glatt is an actual store and has a whole aisle of Israeli hair products...there are also a bunch of other israeli stores that carry tons of Israeli prodcuts in Brooklyn I can tell you about!!!!

That is what the lady at work told me!! But, I'm never in Brooklyn - one day, I might have to make a treck but in the meantime, thankfully, I can order online. I like the sound of the hair mask. I wish I knew what the directions were for how to use it though... they are ALL in hebrew!!!

Re: Israeli Shampoo: Take Two!
I saw your first post and got really excited because my friend brought me back an Ahava gift set when she was in Israel last year. I dug it out of the closet and was so sad when I saw it was body wash, hand lotion, body lotion and a mud mask... with no hair products.
(the body lotion IS very nice though)
when you figure out which is best be sure to update us! I would love to order it too

some stores in Cedarhurst also carry some Israeli products but not as vast as the stores in Brooklyn, so that could be closer to you too

Re: Israeli Shampoo: Take Two!
YES TO CARROTS is another israeli beauty product line. They make hair and skin products (that won't break the bank) which you can usually find in Duane Reade, Target and Walgreens. Haven't tried the hair products, just the skin stuff but since you love Israeli hair products, I thought I would mention it
