It is like I am in a college dorm
I don't know why the walls of my condo are so thin. I am sitting in my home office doing homework and I can hear my neighbor's music and the AOL IM chime. Who insulated these walls???? I can almost hear his conversation. And I wish I could complain but I don't think it is his fault. I think it is just the walls.
Oh yeah, this is the room we had originally planned to be the nursery until we heard loud music, lyrics and all, penetrating through the wall. We decided two weeks ago to move the computers in here so baby will have some peace and quiet.

i would call the office and see if maybe they can redue the walls or something. tell them what you just said here that you can even hear the im's . i know how it feels i hear everything with my neighbors in this trailer, i hate it

Unfortunately since we own the condo, we are responsible for things like that. We were planning on reinsulating the walls, but just didn't want the aggravation since we don't sleep in the room. Overall the neighbors aren't noisy but tonight I hear music, IM'ing, I just heard videogame music. We can go for months with nothing and then all of sudden we hear every little peep. Maybe this is just one of those times when we are home at the same time.

You could always wait until 1am & call the condo president?
We live on a main road & have our walls double sheet rocked. It does make a difference.

No worries. Even people who know I own my condo, don't know all of the rules of each complex
