It isn't looking good...
My demo lesson was Thursday. They said we'd (there were 2 other candidates) would hear something early next week. Well it is next week and I haven't heard anything. I am so depressed  Why is it that I always get the interview but never the job??? What is wrong with me?!!!!! It looks like I will be going back to the city in September

it's still early next week... don't ose hope just yet! most schools have reduced hours over the summer and they may be interviewing for other positions ,etc.
I would say if you don't hear anything by thursday, i would call and express your continuing interest. Did you send a thank you note?

Don't give up. I have no job to go back to in Septemeber and I haven't had one interview yet. I have four and a half years of experience and I thought I would of had at least one or two interviews by now. I know how difficult it is. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.
