It just warms my heart
How attached Alex has become to her grandpa (baba). First thing she says when she wakes up in the morning is "Shhhhhhhh... baba sleepiing"
And, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday we pick up my dad from dialysis. On those days, when my phone rings with him calling when he's ready, she starts jumping and screaming "baba".
I pile her into the car and she sings the whole way there, interspersed with "baba", and the moment we get there, and she sees him she starts screaming and clapping and saying HIIIIIIII BABA.
And the moment we get home, she takes all of her little school projects and shows him, shares her dinner with him, and just runs up to him to kiss him and hold his hand.
It seriously brings tears to my eyes every time I think about it. I have to catch these moments on video, don't I?

Although it might be hard on you right now with your dad living with you these memories that he is making with alex are priceless.

Ava is the same way with her grandpa except she calls him papa. It's very sweet......I love knowing that they will have a wonderful realtionship....my grandpa was my world.....I'm glad she feels the same way about hers.
