It looks like rain for tomorrow....
what are some places to take DD (she is almost 13 months). I live near Mineola but am willing to travel.

Thats what I was thinking of doing but are they open on Mondays ? when I went to their website they had Tuesday - sunday listed with hours only

They are open daily July and August... 10-5.

any library programs in your surrounding areas? i know by me we've been to fingerpainting, puppet shows, animal shows, etc.
