It makes me angry
when adults have unprotected sex and then worry that they may be pg...
I mean, C'MON, there are a gazillion different kinds of birth control these days!!!!
THERE IS NO EXCUSE
and yes, I know this will pizz people off, but you know what?
I don't care

agreed
i hate the term "an oops baby"
or "this one wasn't planned"
or the "pull and pray method"
to put it bluntly
if you're not using any form of birth control, you accept the possibility that a PG can happen
no excuse nor reason to be upset later
and yes i know, even when you do use BC, you can still get PG, as evidenced by some posters here.
I'm not talking about that, I'm talking about those that throw all caution to the wind.

I wish I hadn't seen that thread. While I understand the "not being ready" thing, if you're not ready, then make sure you are not putting yourself in a situation where you might get pregnant.

It makes me very angry that my unmarried BIL has unprotected sex with his girl of the month and she gets knocked up and then has an abortion. He's not a teenager (not that that's an excuse). They are both adults in their 30's!!!
Why is my DH the one with the MF? Why were we the ones who were told it would be a miracle if we conceived on our own and BIL has no problems at all. Why was I the one who had a m/c.

I so so soooooo agree. I have had a VERY hard time with a few people in my life. Unfortunetely abortion was their BC. It's just unacceptable to me coming from grown adults, that throw caution to the wind. This absolutely destroyed one friendship I had with a girl, but i just could not get past how she viewed getting pregnant "again", and her solution.
Life is too precious, it really should be taken more seriously by some.

Don't get me started. I am full of resentment for people who use abortion as a form of BC. I missed the thread, but I can't believe they'd have the NERVE to post on the IF board.
I had a friend who unexpectedly got pregnant with her ex-boyfriend. She was on Weight Watchers at the time, and she actually said to me, "My abortion is scheduled for next Tuesday--which is good, because at least I have an excuse to eat more until then".
I never spoke to her again. Piece of scum.
