it must be the season for rude people...I just can't get over how ballsy some people are.
I hosted Xmas. I cooked a ton of food. I sent everyone home with some food and I sent *someone* home with THREE cakes, incluing a barely eaten SHEET CAKE. I also sent them home with the ALL the turkey remains. They could make sandwhiches for a week with all the turkey I gave them.
I still have some food left for us to eat for the week (lasagna, ziti, ham, sausage n peppers), so I don't have to cook or go food shopping, and DH can bring stuff for lunch. I spent a ton of money, but hey, it was Christmas and I hosted.
This particular person (who I sent home with all the cakes and turkey) was over today and told me I cooked so much food for Christmas and that they really enjoyed it. They ate some of the left overs for lunch. That's fine by me.
Then......they tell me, "Oh, we may bring home some of the food, since you have so much left."
ummmmm??????????? REALLY? WHO says that? after I gave you so much already? What about thinking about me?

I just can't.. I didn't even know what to say, I was just in absolute shock. I was speechless (which I rarely am).

Oh, I'm totally renting an island next year and going to be in seclusion from Dec 1 to Jan 1. I'm going to grow my leg hair and be a wild womanbeast
I spent Christmas getting drunk and sneaking cigarettes outside due to stress and trying to talk myself out of possibly getting a ladder out of the garage and jumping off the roof.
