It showered yesterday!!
I was truly surprised yesterday with my baby shower!!
I knew I was going to have one, but I didn't think it was going to be this soon.
My bff and little sister rented out Artrageous in Rockville Centre. If you haven't been there before, it's a cermic paiting studio where you pick out a plain, unfired piece of ceramic and paint it. They will fire it for you and you pick it up two weeks later. I've been going there every couple of weeks for a year now..I love that kind of stuff, so when I was invited, I never gave it a second thought. I didn't know what was going on until 30 seconds before I walked in the door when I saw a friend of mine and my cousin walking in ahead of me. It took me 10 seconds to figure out what was going on, but I didn't want my bff to be dissapointed so I put on my best actress face when they yelled surprise!!
It was awesome!! She had all kinds of appetizers and we all got to paint an individual tile that will make up a mirror that I can hang in the baby's room.
Everyone was beyond generous, and I for one am still in awe of all of the gifts that I received. Of course, DH's only job was to bring the camera and he forgot it at home, so he had to go out and get the disposable one's. I'll post pics once I get those.
