It sure is hard to find an OBGYN!
How did you pick your OBGYN?
1. Personality
2. Hospital Affiliation
3. Convenience
4. Reputation
I'm starting my OBGYN search now.
So far I've had an appointment with a GYN who doesn't do obstetrics. Hanauer cancelled on me twice (did not schedule a third appointment). I also had an appointment with a maternal fetal obgyn who cancelled on me because I was not high risk.
I have an appointment with Susan Scavo in a few weeks. Hope she doesn't cancel on me!

I just started seeing an OB/GYN that my SIL recommended to me and so far I am very happy with him. I usually get most of my doctor's through recommendations from friends and family. Good luck finding one.

My PCP recommended the OB/GYN I am seeing now. He delivered her baby a couple of years ago. He also delivers at a hospital I am comfortable with and I liked him, he was very thorough. I used to see Dr. Scavo a few years ago. She was nice but I had an abnormal pap and was unhappy with how she handled things. She delivered one of DH's cousin's babies and the cousin was very happy with her.
Good luck! It's really hard to find a good doctor in any specialty.
