It was probably asked before. Do you know any websites for free landscaping design?

I have design books at home but it does not relate to my yard.

Any recommendations on websites?

Like you put your yard size, fence, etc... what you want (patio, pool, etc), and the website offers suggestions for placement and plants.

Does that even exist what I am asking for unless I hire a landcape designer?

I've never seen or heard of a website that offers that service free but I sure would like to try it!

I did get a CD-Rom game for my computer that came with a mail in free software offer and I chose a landscape design one. I sent it in over two months ago and it still has not arrived! If I don't get it soon, I'm going to just buy one. They should be anywhere from 9.99 to 29.99.

I frequent a home decorating message board and the folks there use their landscaping software for inside design projects too (ie. see what you living room looks like with brown walls and your couch in red). I don't know how it works but it looks really cool and something worth having for 30 bucks!

i've gotten some for free from better homes and gardens. i found the page of links from a google search but haven't saved it. the plans looked nice.
