Italian girl names...
I'm looking for suggestions for Italian girl names that DON'T end in an "a." Her first name and last name will both end with "a," so I'd like to pick a middle name that doesn't end in an "a." I'm stumped! Any ideas would be much appreciated!!!
TIA!

Re: Italian girl names...
i just did a quick search and i was shocked that there weren't more italian names that don't end in the letter A.
I found Felice and Caryn/Carin although Caryn said it was both from Irish/Gaelic descent and italian?!

Re: Italian girl names...
That's gonna be tough since the "a" denotes feminine.
The only name I can think of is "Matilde"

Re: Italian girl names...
Did a search...slim pickings lol
Agnese Beatie Beatrice Caprice celeste Dafne Edvige Natale Noemi Rachele Salvatrice
ETA: For a middle name how about Marie? While Marie is not authentic Italian, I think of it as an "Italian" name, maybe bc all the Marie's I know are Italian American?

Thanks for all of your suggestions girls!! I'm not at all opposed to using an Italian American name, so if you ladies have suggestions of Italian American names, that would be great too! The only reason I'm not going with Marie is because half the women in my family have that name already. haha! The pickings really are slim without using a name with an "a" on the end!

Re: Italian girl names...
Crashing here...but I'm Italian and most of my friends are also. I'll just list their names (the ones that don't end in "a"...not really Italian though...mostly Italian-American:
Valerie Danielle Marie Roseanne Josephine Joanne Grace Rachelle
Funny...all the rest end in "a".

eta - I saw you mentioned not minding Italian - American names. What about a modification of some of the "-a" names? Like Gabrielle (instead of Gabriella) or
Sophie Annabelle Adrienne Isabelle Elaine Marielle Nicolette Roseanne Sylvie Violette

LOL!
Let's see. . . no ending in A rules out my whole family, how funny! never really noticed that before! I cannot think of one name
I know a Dominique and Stefanie - but I dont think those are "genuine" Italian names.

Funny...all the rest end in "a".
All of these in their Italian forms end in A too LOL (Daniella, Rosanna, Giusippina, Grazia, etc)
