Itchy, dry nipples?
Does anyone else have this? I feel no matter what I rub on them, they dont look or feel any better.
Suggestions?

Re: Itchy, dry nipples?
invest in the lanolin cream that nursing mothers use... it is a godsend

Re: Itchy, dry nipples?
I agree....lanolin cream. Also sounds strange but try not to put soap directly on them in the shower....can dry them out more. Your nipples go through big changes during pregnancy. Lanolin cream is very sticky I think but it gets absorbed so you don't have to use any other lotions when using it.

Re: Itchy, dry nipples?
Mine aren't dry, but I do get the itchies every so often and its very annoying. I'm only about 11w on so I thought maybe it was just in my head but thanks for the suggestion on the lanolin cream!

Re: Itchy, dry nipples?
PSA!!!!
IF YOU USE LANOLIN CREAM MAKE SURE YOU USE BREAST PADS!!!
the cream WILL stain!!!
yes, the ladies are right, that's the best stuff to use. but it'll never come out of your bra and might stain your shirt too.
and if you don't have breast pads do what i did - cut a panty liner in half and stick one half on each side

Re: Itchy, dry nipples?
ughh that was the worst in the end of the first and during the second trimester
its because theyre stretching -- make way for amazon mama boobs!
the lanolin was EHH for me, i liked palmers tummy butter and you can use it on everything -- boobs, belly, thighs, etc.
just wait til your belly starts itching and you walk around like a drunk frat boy scratching yourself
