Itchy stretch marks!
I just developed stretch marks about 2 weeks ago. It was around the same time that I had a rash break out on my belly. The rash has since cleared up, but my stretch marks (I only have them under my belly button) are SO itchy!
I can feel what feels like big mosquito bites in the area where the stretch marks are, and in one spot, the bumps are actually IN the mark! The itching is SO horrible, but I'm afraid to scratch for fear of further ruining my skin. My doctor said it was ok to put like a cortisone cream on it, but honestly, it doesn't do anything! The itching wakes me up from a dead sleep almost every night.
My bloodwork was negative for PUPPPS and it's only on the bottom part of my belly that I have them (the marks and bumps). It's to the point where it bothers me to even wear underwear because it rubs up against them and makes me want to scratch. If I could just get away with walking around naked for the next 2 weeks, I'd be a VERY happy girl.
Aside from taking an old-school cheese grater to my belly to get spme relief, what more can I do?

Re: Itchy stretch marks!
I heard that Palmer's Cocoa Butter is the best lotion for this.
Also I know it takes the itch away...my little cousin had severe exczema...he owuld scratch himself until he turned red or drew blood, not even prescription cream worked but they tried this and it stopped the itch and cleared it up. Feel better!

ditto. You can usually use hydro-cortisone that is 1% or less. I use the hydro-cortisone on my belly, hips, thighs and boobs. I use the Aveeno on the rest of my body as a normal moisturizer.

Re: Itchy stretch marks!
I've itchy in the same spot, I got Palmers Belly Butter and it does help for a little while. I re-apply it everytime I go to the bathroom. It smells nice too.

I've been slathering on the Palmers since the night I got my BFP.
I guess I'm just going to have to suffer for the next 12 days and hope and pray that this goes away after I give birth!

Re: Itchy stretch marks!
Sometimes my athlete's foot gets intolerable and I buy the aveeno bath packets but instead of putting it into a tub filled w/ water i mix it with a little water until it's like an oatmeal-y paste and I slather it all over my feet and wrap my feet loosely in paper towels or cellophane so it doesn't get everywhere...
