It's 6:15am and the dog across the street
has been barking for the last 30 mins at least... CONSTANTLY! It's driving me crazy- and keeping me awake. And the worst part is that their bark sounds JUST like my dog's bark, who we let stay with my mom during the week (she lives next door) because my dad stays at my grandma's house in Queens since that's where he works. I keep going to check to make sure it's not my dog out there... (even though i KNOW it isn't) This happened once before- but the dog barked ALL night! We're not friendly w/ the neighbors who own the dog--- they're not really very friendly people and they leave their dog out all night b/c they have a fenced in yard. I let it go last time but this time I may need to leave an anonymous note in their mailbox or something- because I'm ready to scream!!!

Re: It's 6:15am and the dog across the street
That would make me so mad. We have a dog around the block who barks constantly whenever his owners aren't home - usually Friday or Saturday night. Then my dogs get all riled up and want to run out back and bark at the barking... nothing like trying to sleep when the barking doesn't stop!

I would call the police. Does the dog even have shelter if they are leaving it out all night? Dog sounds bored and neglected to me. I would call for that reason, plus the noise disturbance.

Re: It's 6:15am and the dog across the street
I have a neighbor who does this. They are in a cycle of crating the dog while he barks and lets him outside in the yard and barks constantly. It's really upsetting to know their dog is just left to bark and be ignored.
