It's amazing - but you really do forget what it's like to be pregnant over time
I am constantly reading the pregnancy board - and I never thought I would say this - but I truly forgot what it's like to be pregant.
All of the ache's and pains - the heaviness - the peeing five times an hour - not sleeping - the heartburn.
It's so amazing how it all becomes such a distant memory - when at the time you wonder how you'll ever get through!

No. I do not. Which is why I don't want to have another baby.
I was scarred for life by my pregnancy
I recently had a stomach bug and was vomiting (not nearly as bad as when I was preggo tho ) and it reaffirmed my ideas that I do NOT want to do that again.

If I really try and remember I can but it wouldn't deter me from doing it again. The prize at the end was worth every minute of discomfort and miserableness (I realize this isn't a word lol)

Oh but, the memories come flooding back soon after getting pregnant again. Then you wonder how you blocked it out of your head.

Maybe I'm weird, but I remember a lot, the good and the bad. I can still imagine the in utero kicks, the bad congestion I had the last month and the pain of birth.
I'd still do it all over again.

Unfortunatly like Kate, while I have learned I can deal better, with the pregnancies I have, I will never forget. Theres even a website for women with hyperemesis who have Post tramatic stress syndrome. It takes all you have just to survive each day.
Ok that was wayyyyy melodramatic. LMAO...Didnt mean it that way.
Honestly, the one thing I did forget was how TIRED you are the 1st trimester.

ITA. I seemed to block out of my head how bad the heartburn was but once it came back, I remembered

I dont think I will really forget. 4 months of constant vomitting is something you dont forget
2 weeks ago I had an appendicitis and I couldnt stop vomitting. I felt like it was m/s all over again. At the hospital I begged them for Phenergan because I know that definately works.
Maybe in 2 - 3 years I'll forget but for now the m/s, pains, sleepless nights, constant running to the bathroom I dont want to do anytime soon

While I "forgot" a bit, it is fresh in my memory.
At least I know what to expect (somehow!) the next time around.
