He is 4 (with pdd-nos) and is now enjoying watching shows like Dora, Diego, Bubble Gubbies and Umi Zoomi answering most of their questions correctly!
It was really rough starting out in EI but now 2 years later he has progressed tremendously. His speech and language is picking up and his attention span is growing. Also I've posted about him being a runner and not realizing quickly enough the dangers around this also has gotten a little better. I feel better bringing him places with having the understanding to follow direction better. The other day we went to the market and he had 6 toys he wanted to take I told him only 1 and he actually negotiated with me saying 2 and that's it! I am so proud of all his progress so far. He has been potty trained since 3 1/2 which was the biggest accomplishment for all of us. He started in a 6:1:2 and is now in a larger self contained class. Thank goodness for all this therapy available to us and great teachers!

That is great! My DS also has PDD-NOS. Went from being non-verbal until almost 3 years old and now I can't shut him up sometimes (which is fine by me. LOL). He just started first grade and is doing great! I think EI helped him and Pre-K and ABA helped him tremendously along with his services, teachers and therapists. You will see your DS come even farther and farther along!

I remember asking about Pdd-nos 2 years ago and your posts were encouraging I'm happy your DC is doing well also. Kindergarten next year will scare me but I'm positive he will do well.
