Re: Its pretty quiet here... Updates please
Nothing much here...
Still waiting for AF...On CD 34 I think?
Gonna wait till about day 40-45 if nothing call Dr. Chu for an appointment.
Still recovery from sugery I had 9 days ago( not TTC related) and progress has halted with healing, so thats my main focus right now.
Its weird to not even think about TTC...but I havent really....
Im not sure if I heal in time for next cycle what to do.
We were suppossed to move forward with injectables..
I may wait it out another month.
I have been emotionally GLAD for this break...though as we get further in the year its sad to think..OK, well no 2006 baby...maybe 2007...ya know?

Hi Kara. Great idea. I think a GTG at your time share in Montauk is a FABULOUS idea!

CD 9. I left RSofNY after seven pointless and frustrating months and have a consult with Dr. Rosenfeld at NSUH today. I guess this cycle will be natural. I think my body needs to detox from all of the Clomid.

Re: Its pretty quiet here... Updates please
I'm not doing anything this month either and I love it!! I do have my appt with Dr. Davis (Cornell) on Wed and I'm very curious to hear what he has to say. However since I have started a new job and still don't have insurance that covers IF, DH and I have decided to wait until the summer to try anything new. Like Donna posted earlier, a 2006 baby is not an option so what's another few months to try something?
Baby dust to all of you.
I miss you girls and wish I had more time to be on LIF...

Re: Its pretty quiet here... Updates please
Kara - your timeshare sounds perfect - and you're getting great weather
Theresa - good luck with Dr Rosenfeld
I'm in the middle of IVF. Just got AF (nice and bright red (TMI- I know, but I was excited)) I'm on Lupron and have my baseline sono and blood on Thursday, then I think its Follistim (at least thats what TeleDrug delivered to me) Staying calm and hoping and praying that this is it. I want to be fat(ter), and moody, and give up my home office for a crib

Re: Its pretty quiet here... Updates please
CD 5 here.
Got CD 3 bloodwork on Saturday and started back on 100mg Clomid.
So far no side effects, I guess when you are off it for a couple months you don't have the "build-up". Which is nice.
Still on the Metformin. It's actually finally slimming me down a little too (I swear I have less cellulite - best side effect ever!!)
Still arguing with DH over why we have to move to an assisted cycle. He's a little in denial and thinks that we should keep trying naturally.
After a very long tear-filled conversation Friday night I think he's finally seeing the why, but I still feel like he's only 50% committed.
Start using OPKs on CD 10 and move to IUI when I get my surge!!

Re: Its pretty quiet here... Updates please
CD 2, 4th failed IUI. Going to continue with IUIs until June because they are FREE Moving on to IVF this June-July if nothing happens in the next two months.
Scheduled an HSG for next week sometime, just to reassure that the tubes are clear (18 months since the last one)
Also looking into adoption with Catholic Charities.
Praying in between!
Baby Dust to us all!

Re: Its pretty quiet here... Updates please
We are still in a holding pattern. We really don't know what we are going to do. IVF is not an option at this point due to insurance and $$$$, although we are thinking of doing more IUI with a different doctor, but are waiting a couple more months.
