Its the little things that get me excited
Since I only cook for the two of us, fresh herbs always go bad before I can use all of it. I saw this in Newsday and I cant wait to go and buy them!!
Dorot frozen crushed or chopped herbs, conveniently packaged in cubed trays, make it easy to add a burst of flavor to cooked dishes. The lineup includes basil, garlic and cilantro. Each package contains 20 teaspoon-size cubes and costs $2 at Trader Joe's

Neat! Let us know if you like them.
I started using freeze-dried herbs b/c fresh herbs always go bad before I use them all. I've been very happy with the freeze-dried ones - they're sold in the produce section of the supermarket.

I have heard about those! Where did you get them? I only found them in Fairway and it's not too close to my house.

I have them and they are great. Saves so much time when you are cooking. I have basil, garlic and another one I forgot.

Love them!! I use basil, garlic and cilantro. I don't waste as much this way, so in the end it saves money, and NO CHOPPING!
ETA: I buy them at Trader Joe's.
