It's Too Hot - How Is Everyone Coping
Ever since Ella was born I would take her walks early in the morning. This morning I take Ella out and boy was I sweating. It's just too hot!! I guess we'll spend the rest of the day inside with the AC blasting.
Stay cool everyone and keep the babies cool as well.
I am hoping the heat wave will break soon.

We're dying over here!! Our CAC went out yesterday. I hope I can get somebody today to fix it. We dealt with yesterday by going out for dinner and then coming home to play outside for a bit (it was cooler after the rain) and then a cool-ish bath and we have a window fan in DD's room. I was just in there and it is ALOT cooler than my room.

We are going to cope by NOT going to FIL's house anymore!
What a jerk, he had no AC on at all when I got there with DS, i was fuming, I left for a little while and told DH to get his butt over there and DO SOMETHING.
We both suffered unnecessarily and it was not worth it.
if he pulls this for Father's Day, we're leaving......

Swimming in the lake. 
We have a kiddie pool for Grace as well. Her room stays pretty cool in the summer (it is in the back of the house, not facing the sun)

We only have A/C in our bedroom so I set up the pack n' play and a bunch of his toys in there and that is where we will be all day (or all week if this keeps up). I have so many things I wanted to get done this week but I don't want to be dragging DS around in this heat!

Well yesterday was interesting, during the storm our power went out for 4 hours 
It got pretty warm but we dealt with it, we just went for walks and hung out. Yesterday we went to the beach and today we'll be by the pool

Thank God for CAC!! we seem to get a power outtage in this area a couple times each summer so I hope we don't today. My DS has school, I bet the school is not AC'd. Otherwise sprinkler for my kids. i thought was had a pool behind the shed but I guess it got thrown out last fall bc it's gone. I'm so sure TRU is sold out. My DD is sick today though so probably just inside.

Staying in the CAC. I will not be taking DS and the baby I sit for, for a walk today.
After babysitting, may go to parents. They opened the pool.
I just  we don't lose power. If so, I'll def. be going to my parents. They have a generator which at least keeps the CAC running.

I ran to the store at 8 am today.
We're sepending the day inside... DC's are taking an extra long nap right now.
Oh, and I'm giving thanks to the dearly-departed Mr. Carrier, the inventor of air conditioning and to "Tom" the man who installed my CAC

We have our AC's cranking! Julia goes outside to play with her water toys too, but only for a few minutes at a time, its to hot, this is August weather!
