itunes aggrivation
so i got an ipod yesterday, i have been trying to dl itunes all day...they are saying i dont have a 4 server pack..whatever that is so i come all the way to my moms assuming its my computer at home and i cant frikkin dl it on there either..
so now i have an empty ipod..an itunes gift card..and i dont kno what im doing wrong..verry aggrivated!
did any1 else have this problem?
are there any other sites i can use that are legal??

I have been using Itunes for over a year and never had a problem until today. It would start to let me download songs I wanted and then stop saying the connection timed out. Now I am accessing purchased songs to get the songs I paid for and it is downloading music I bought a long time ago. Something is definately up with the site right now- I am sorry you are having trouble, especially since you want to play with your new toy!

Definitely not just you. My nephew & niece have been trying to redeem the gift cards I got them. They keep getting error messages. They probably didn't anticipate the response.

That makes sense. Of course I procrastinated and have 22 people coming over and no Christmas music on yet.

I got an IPod too! The instructions it came with aren't so good. I'm just about to figure out how to use this thing. There is a support forum and other support on the apple site as well.

I just got an ipod from my DH for Christmas so thanks for this thread --- I'll probably hold out on dling any new songs tonight until another nightwhen they aren't so busy!

I just tried to Redeem my gift card as well, and I'm also getting an error message. I'm getting so impatient with this cuz I want to test the ipod out!!

it literally took me ohhh 4 hrs to finally dl itunes and then when i did, my ipod is not charged so i cant even test my dl'd song, lol i have never seen sucha thing, tomorrow i will hafta try again b/c i have been at this for hrs!!!

I had that problem last night
I got the red ipod nano for xmas for dh and i went to download everything last night and it kept giving me error messages. I just figured alot of people got ipods for xmas and the website was busy

you will save them in a folder and when you open itunes, it has an option that says import files. it will bring the songs in the folder to itunes, then it will transfer the songs automatically to your ipod when you connect it to the computer.

My daughter downloaded some yesterday and it was very slow. We just did some before and we were fine.
