IUI FRIDAY!!!!
I"M SO EXCITED!!!  Just got the call!!!!!
I have to take the ovidrel at 11pm tonight and then go for the IUI on Friday morning. We have to bring DHs sample to the andrology lab on Friday morning (waiting to hear back from them) and then bring it to my drs office- which is like 5 mins away. The procedure will be done there.
I asked what my estrodial level was and she told me 1,427!!  It's shocking that I'm not a raging lunatic yet!!! Or extremely hormonal! 
I didn't ask if that was good or bad- I'm hoping the sonogram showed them all of the follicles but my doc doesn't seem worried about the # (or he would've called me himself I think) so I'm not going to stress over it.
Anyone have any tips for me re: IUI? This is my first one - I'm so excited yet nervous!!!

first of all good luck!! 
and in regards to the iui, it's over b4 you know it. Just try to relax and make sure you don't go swimming after it!
no really it is not a big deal! if you have any questions just ask I've had 7 of them!

Good luck! The IUI is a piece of cake, IMO. Keep that sample from DH warm on the drive to the lab!

You can tell your DH to come with you and sing "Row Row Row Your Boat" like my DH does. Except he has to sing the words "UP the stream" and not "DOWN the stream." I would also keep him away from the bendy light at the end of the exam table. My DH thought he was Luke Skywalker and played "JEDI" with it. Best of luck and think fertile thoughts!!!

then a pap smear...Its very quick, actual procedure takes about 45 seconds, so not much to be afraid about which is good...

Best of luck! I hope you get Bronson tomorrow, he's a good luck charm! He got me preggo on one of my IUIs!! If not, tell Lydic to go touch him! Eh, I'm sure he'll be just as good!

I called my REs office today and told them that DH and I are dropping off his sample at 8:30/8:45 tomorrow am. They're guessing my IUI should be around 10 then- because the lab takes about an hour to wash it and prep it (whatever they do) and then DH and I will pick up his sample and go to my REs office.
We're considering finding a hotel near stony brook hospital tonight b/c the weather is making me nervous. Frankly I'd rather be in a hotel w/ just DH than in my ILS house---- they eat breakfast right below our room and I don't want to risk them hearing us BD (though I'm guessing they know we do as they know we're ttc )
Plus that'll give us a lot more time to get to the hospital in the morning- depending on what the weather does tonight. Anyone know of any hotels there? TIA!

I no longer live on Long Island, but I remember there is a Holiday Inn Express on 347 not far from Stony Brook. I don't know if there any new hotels in the area

Thanks- Just found out the holiday inn is $159 tonight (plus tonight) then in the next breath they said they're sold out.
I called the econolodge (but don't know where it is to know it's safe) but it's right on 347 for much less- so i think we're booking that.
