IUI Tomorrow?
So, I THINK I got a positive OPK this morning. I can't stand this being left up to me. I can't read those things for $hit.
Anyway, so I'm going to call my RE this morning and tell him. I took it this morning at around 5:15, and it says you need to have not urinated for 4 hours and I went at around 4:30...so, I'm hoping what I'm reading is accurate. I would imagine it would have been even MORE clear had I actually waited the 4 hours. It was one of those, one side of the line is darker than the reference and one side was the same color, maybe a lil lighter. I HATE that.
Any words of advice from anyone on the IUI? It's my first one and I'm nervous!!

Wishing you lots of luck on your IUI. I had my first IUI last month and it was painless. It's like a pap smear. Nothing to worry about  Let us know how it goes...and hopefully this will be your last IUI!

I would 100% take another one around 2 pm today. Or at leats in the mid-late afternoon.
I know some brands actually reccomend you take them in the afternoon after you have been to the bathroom a few times.
Concentrated urine( even the 3rd of the day still is) may give you false results.
This afternoons should confirm. If its still nice and dark, Then your on your WAY!

I'm pretty sure it's positive, but I will test again tonight when I get home from work.

good luck tomorrow. BUt insist that they do bloodwork to confirm and LH surge,this way if you are too early you can do another IUI the next day.

Hey guys,
When I went home on Monday night I had an absolute positive OPK, I even brought it in for the doctor to see yesterday morning.
Things went really well with the IUI. He was glad that I ovulated on my own and that DH's washed sperm count was over 29 million.
Fingers, toes and eyeballs crossed!!
