I've totally created a monster (although I really think she existed from birth ;-))!!
So, my 3 year old Abby is a real scootch. Always doing anything to get under your skin. It is mostly directed toward her older sister (who'll be 5 in two months). She slaps her, pulls her hair, jumps on her, etc. etc. etc. etc.
We have tried almost everything...but the child loves getting in trouble. Add that to a super-sensitive older sister and well, it's a disaster.
Finally (esp. because I am an older sister who was the agressor...aren't the older ones SUPPOSED to play that role?  ), my DH and I told Katherine, "Hit her back!" That worked for all of about five minutes...
Yesterday I heard Abby yelling, "HIT ME HARDER, Katherine!!!"  
It's going to be a long life with this child...sigh...

I think its the name...my sister Abbey is the same way...I am the older sister (2 years older) and my mom had to tell me to hit my sister back....
I've meet 2-3 other Abbey's that were under the age of 5 and they all acted the same way
