IVF cycle #1 - cancelled
After the BCPs and 18 days of Lupron, we are giving up on this cycle. I had originally made 6 follicles in the midst of this mess and am now down to one still-growing follicle (a 20.5).
They have me triggering tonight and we are forbidden to BD because of the amount of Lupron I've been on. I go back to the RE next Friday and if my progesterone is low enough they will put me back on Lupron and we'll try again.
I barely make any stinking follicles on my own and I did nothing on Clomid. 5 months of Follistim and now I'm a machine that can't be stopped. This is very frustrating.

Jen I am so sorry. You have been through so much! Its no picnic to be on lupron for that long I have had a cancelled ivf cycle too, my first one. I truly think it was harder emotionally than the BFN cycle. Feel free to fm me if you want.

I am so sorry-When I did my IVF I did not go on any BCP, Lupron etc. The main reason the clinics do that is to get you on the same schedule as everyone else I have heard. See if they will do that. I had good resultys and my fsh was 14.9 on my successful IVF cycle. My AF happened to coincide with their schedule though... Good luck

I am so sorry to hear that!! I was hoping that things would have worked out!!
I hope that next week when you go back to the RE you get some good news to go ahead and start again!!
