IVF girls- FET success stories ??
While I sort out my thoughts on "whether " we plan on trying for #3 in the new year, I was just wondering if I could hear some success stories for FET's....Trying to get my ducks in a row - LOL
Also, how many were thawed & how many were transferred...
If you had a previous child, was the frozen embie from the same batch as your other child ?

Sadie was a FET
They thawed two and transferred two...one took.
My fresh cycle was a BFN.
We have three left and plan to use them *hopefully* this summer.

my close friend just got pregnant from a FET. She only transferred one and so far its sticking
ETA: it was from the same batch from her first IVF (she transferred 2 eggs, and got pregnant with one and had a DS)

Again Im not going to be much help...
One of the twins friends has 3 children...
One is the twins age obviously and the other 2 are maybe 2 and then 4 years younger....
They were all, from what I was told, from the same batch...
But she doesnt like me much b/c I pulled the girls from her girl scout troop so I cant call and ask her....

When we had our latest consultation with my RE, and even when we started the whole IVF process last year, my RE said due to my age, 3 would be transfered off a fresh cycle as a 3dt, if we had to do a FET then it would be 2 embies since they would be blasts. This is all due to my age and the quality of my eggs.
We did end up doing Microarray testing on our remaining embies this past summer. I had 6 frozen. Microarray is different than PGD as it tests all chromosomes and not just 13 like PGD. Out of the 6 we had 2 normals, and when we do our FET, we will transfer both of those back.
Regardless, even if all 6 had been healthy, we would have only thawed 2 anyway.

My second DD was an FET from the IVF that my first DD was from....
They thawed three, transferred two and I got pregnant with one!!!
Good Luck. I still have 3 left and wonder if someday I will decide to use them!

Quick question if you will.....
Are all FET's 5 day embies  ?
This is probably IF - 101 !
My fresh cycle w/ my DD was a 5 day blast, and my frosties are 5-6 days embies...Just curious if there is a quality difference one way or another the more mature of an embryo if anyone knows...
