IVF Meds
So I pick up all my meds tomorrow..my IVF coordinator said its a bit overwhelming to look at everything and was wondering what to expect. She said that I may look like I have a a bit of a problem with all the syringes LOL
I'll have Lupron/Gonal-F/Menopur..I hope they work as they are supposed to..
I'm kind of excited, who would have thought that getting ready to get daily injections of hormones would make someone happy I just feel as though we are making a step in the right direction....

We are not quite there yet......but, will be soon. And like you, I am exited to get bruised up by self-injections! LOL
Lots of Baby Dust to you!! I hope you get a BFP soon right after your first IVF!!

Re: IVF Meds
LOL yes it IS overwhelming --- but at the same time, empowering.
Last night I discovered I was "missing" my injection for the evening. Of course I discovered this at 11 pm and was freaking out. And I had checked it off my list as having been received - but I cannot find it anywhere!!
My only suggestion - make sure one day ahead that you have everything ready. I am learning the hard way!

Re: IVF Meds
Well it is called Estradiol Valerate and is supposed to build up the utrine lining. Since I am early on it is OK that I didn't take it last night. I will take it tonight instead. They ordered it from Krupner's for me and it should arrive today.
Funny thing is, I have it on my list and checked off as being received - when I got the shipment I went through EVERYthing... but now I can't find it!!

Re: IVF Meds
I just received my box of meds last week and will start taking them next week.
It is overwhelming but I do look forward to the next stage. Good luck.

Re: IVF Meds
HOLY TOLEDO That's a lot of medication and syringes...If anyone who didn't know what we were going through with the IVF found this in my house I think they would stage an intervention...
