No, we saw the heartbeat (flicker) at 6 wks 1 day and when I went back at 7 wks 2 days we finally got to hear the heartbeat.

No, 4/5 weeks is to check that the sac is in the uterus. I had that confirmation at 4 weeks, didn't go back at 5 weeks. 6 weeks is heartbeat. HB doesn't start until somewhere in the 6th week, so don't expect one if you have an u/s at 5 weeks.

Today I had spotting my hematoma is now gone(Reason for the spotting). Saw a sac and yolk both are measuring perfect according to the tech. I go in to sit with the RE and she said I was hoping to see the HB. I said to her I won't be 6 weeks until Sunday and I know from my practice (MFM) I work in we don't see HB or fetal pole until 6 weeks and 3 days 99% of the time.
What the hell is she talking about?? I'm measuring exactly how I did at this time with DD so I don't quite get it.

We saw nothing at 5w1d and I thought that was it! Then we went back at 5w4d and we saw the gest and yolk sac. Went back at 6w4d and we saw the heartbeat!

I saw a sac and Yolk sac forming at around 5 weeks. I had a heavy bleed at 5 weeks 5 days where we saw 2 sacs. He made me wait another week and at almost 7 weeks we saw a heartbeat or well at least he saw it. Because of my c-section my uterus is very high so internal sonograms aren't getting a good view for us.
Eta: with my dd we saw heartbeat at 6 weeks 5 days.

Same as the others - no heartbeat @ 5w2d, just gestational sac and early glimmer of the yolk sac. We saw the HB flicker @ 6w0d, and heard it @ 7w0d.
Don't they realize they plant seeds of panic when the say cr@p like that?? I don't think you need to worry!

So you were 5w5d? It would be pretty rare to see the hb then. Almost unheard of. Did you see a fetal pole though? Maybe that's what she was talking about.
You go to the same RE that I used to go to (I remember from your previous posts) and with my last pregnancy with them we didn't see a fetal pole at 5w4d and they were all sunshine and roses about it, congratulating me on having a sac and a yolk sac, telling me my due date, etc. They're just nuts over there.

What the heck I will call her out it was Dr Saketos that said their was no HB. I believe I saw the start of the fetal pole(just from experience )posted in my album. With DD I had a sono at 5w4d and Dr Trivax was happy with what he saw gestational sac and yolk sac. That's why I'm a little steamed that she would make that comment I also had to correct her because she was calculating me a day ahead. Based on my day 5 transfer and lmp(Transfer was done exactly day 19 of cycle) yesterday I was 5w5d.
Next week I see Dr Trivax(thank God) someone who knows me and my history.
