IVIG/Intralipds Covered by Medco or Pica?
Hi,
DH is a NYC schoolteacher so our meds are covered by the UFT plan which uses Medco and Pica for injectibles. Does anyone know if either covers IVIG or intralipids? Thanks.

I know Medco covered my intralipids but for IVIG I had to pay out of pocket. I did have a co-pay for intralipids but it was not that much. I was also covered by a home health care nurse to come over and administer but instead I paid out of pocket for the nurse at my doctors office to come over and do it for me.

my RX coverage is through medco and they covered intralipids for me.

I have MEDCO/ACCREDO as a specialty pharmacy. But under my UH plan, I don't have Intralipid or Infusion therapy coverage. I think it depends upon your plan.

Thanks Curious...so gad that all is going well. That is fantastic news..of course...it is understandable that you are being cautious....I hope you have a continued H & H 9 months!!
