Jack climbed out of his crib!
Well, I think it was more like fell head first while trying to get out. Now what do I do?? I can't imagine him sleeping in a toddler bed since I know he will never just lay down and go to sleep. He is 20 months! I've already put his toddler bed mattress on the floor so if he does it again he will at least fall onto something soft!

Do you ever have him sleep on the mattress on the floor. That was my friends solution when her son started climbing out of his crib.

My DS climbed out of his crib when he was almost 12 months old. We took everything out of his crib so he has nothing to climb on. I think it may have scared him enough that he won't do it again, but we bought a crib tent just in case (haven't used it yet).

I feel your pain...
Aidan climbed out at 15 months, the thrill wore off for a few months but around 18 months he started doing it again and sleeping on the floor.
We finally put him in his twin bed with a safety rail in March, he was 21 months. He loves his bed! I have one of those handle cover locks on the door so he cannot get out and roam around. I go to him when I hear him on the monitor.
I thought it was too early for a bed, but he was so ready!

Caiden has been sleeping in his twin race car bed since he was 20 months. I never thought he'd stay in there either, but he does. Also, I keep a gate at the doorway.
