Jack wants to go to WDW when his Daddy comes home! help!
We don't know when Dh will be home could be Christmas could be New Years, so I can't book until mid Dec. Luckily we will be driving, our florida residents and don't need passes.
What hotels do you suggest for a toddler? On or off property?
Something with a food court or kid friendly resturant ??
Something with a view of fireworks or one of the night displays (so if he is asleep dh and I can watch)
Easy transportation to the Magic Kingdom??
Has anyone used any of the babysitting or nanny services if case mommy and daddy want a dinner to themseleves??
Thank you!!!
I'm so excitied. Dh's first trip to WDW was when he was 18 and it wasen't the greatest and then we went right after we got married and had a blast but didn't have the extra money for a nicer hotel or little extras we want this time. We stayed at the All Star last time. I've stayed at the Wilderness Lodge (didn't really like it) and Caribbean Beach prior with my family.

Hey Laurie that will be so AWESOME! While I don't have a toddler we did love the all star music. It was cute on disney property and the price was RIGHT! I see that you stayed there before. We liked it also because even though we had drove to florida and had our car we never used it. We got right on the bus and let them drive us dropped us off right in front of the gate. One night we went to treasure island and had A LOT of fun and its a good thing we didn't have our car . Also we were so tired by the time we left who wanted to drive.
The year before that my best friend and I went. We stayed on International drive in a best western across from Wet and Wild. It was 10.00 Cheaper to stay there BUT then it cost us 10.00 to park at the park anyway. So really it was the same price.
I don't think you get the same "experience" if you stay off as you do if you stay on property IMO
When I was younger we stayed at the Polynesian AND THAT PLACE WAS NICE. BUT $$$$
I don't think I have heard anything bad about any of the hotels. Coranado springs is really nice (I heard)
And of course theres always camping for 40.00 a night
HAVE A GREAT TIME!

Easy transportation to Magic Kingdom will be Polynesian, Grand Floridan and Contemporary because they all have the monorail. The Contemporary has rooms with a Magic Kingdom view but $$$$.
Any other onsite hotel you will have to use the bus to go from the hotel to the park. We just went last month and the buses are not bad. We stayed at Port Orleans Riverside. It was very nice and would go back. The All Star Resorts and Pop Century will be the least expensive hotels onsite. I have not stayed there but heard they are nice too. I went on www.wdwinfo.com to get lots of info before my trip. Its lilke LIF but all about Disney.
Have fun!!!
