Jamie is Lost. :(
Please, Suffolk County people, could you keep your eyes peeled for a very small black dog that looks like a Lab?
"Male dog, 30 lbs., 5 years old. black lab mix lost in Farmingville area. Red collar/tags,no chip. Last seen around Birkshire Drive this morning, 6/22. Lost from Oakcrest/Birkshire. Friendly, but scared..looks to hide among trees, wooded areas. Catch phrase..."Jamie want a cookie?" "Who wants a cookie???" Please call 631-433-5252 or alt. 631-252-8081 TY!!"
Also, could you Like this page on Facebook and share? This is my cousin's dog and well loved by them and their young daughter. 
Thank you SO much for anything you could do, they are so upset!!

OMG. How terrible!!! How did he get lost? Did he escape the yard? Or run away? I hope their baby can be found safe and sound soon.

They were on vacation so I'm assuming whoever was watching him somehow let him get out? I'm not sure. It's my #1 fear whenever we go on vacations without the dogs.

Yup, and we're going on vacation very shortly too. I can't help but worry. But generally, I'll ask our dog sitters to just play with them in the backyard instead of walking them. I figure if the two gates stay closed, less of a danger since they're not fence jumpers or hole diggers.
And, one of our dogs got bitten in the nose by one of our neighbor's dogs on a walk 2 weeks ago.

I cannot say with any certainty if this is something that is tried and true but someone posted this on my shih tzu group on facebook and I thought I would send you the link for your cousin to perhaps try...
I truly hope sweet Jamie is found very soon...

BUT NO!!!
Eddie the tracker who is helping them says DO NOT GO…That Jamie is in Survival mode and will only be frightened by so many people, let them handle it!!! It's on the Facebook page, that everyone should not go!!!
As per Facebook page, Eddie the trapper says…
"Everyone needs NOT to go in there..Jamie was seen in certain spots that we know of..There should be limited people to be driving and walking around and DO NOT go into tbe woods..He is in Survival Mode and you may cause a threat to him and scare him from his Safe Zone..You will NOT be able to catch him, if you see him call his name softly, if he keeps going DO NOT chase him, if possible without him seeing you, just follow at a distance, if he goes in the woods STOP and call in the sighting..Feeding stations will be placed and later today I will be setting trail cams and bring traps.."
OMG!!! I check Jamie's page often and think of them, praying for them and this a miracle!!! Just everyone for them to be able to trap Jamie!!!!! But stay home!!!!

Poor Jamie is probably disoriented and fearful now, may not come to his owners or doggie sibling at this point. Hoping they can lure him in with food and trap him!!! Come on Jamie, your family needs you home!!!

My night has been made seeing Jamie gas been found !!! As a dog owner who views my dogs as my children Jamie's story has been on my mind daily since he went missing. To know of Jamie's family who love their pets like a child has always made me feel so much for them and pray for Jamie's safe return. My prayers for this dedicated committed caring and wonderful family were to find Jamie safe. To never know where your dog went is tragic to a loving pet owner. To be on vacation and it happen is just a nightmare. I am so glad these amazing people had such love And support and of course a major applause to a really amazing guy Eddie dogman.    
I wish Jamie could tell his story of where he has been snd how he has survived all this time. Poor baby so glad he is home.
