japanese restaurant..
can anyone recommend a japanese restaurant with great sushi and of course other foods as well for a party maybe 20 people for a sit down dinner??

Kotobuki (sp?) on Deer Park Avenue. I think it is in the town of Babylon.

ETA: There's a new sushi/Japanese place in Oceanside, I forget the name, but it's on LB Road.
Also, Shogun on Austin Blvd. in Island Park is AWESOME!!!! It's hibachi..

Empire Szuchuan (sp)
in syocett on jericho typke has AMAZING sushi, Japenese and chinese cuisine. they have a private party room. I had my rehearsal dinner there. It was great!

If you are looking for out east, Kirin in Rocky Point is pretty good... so is Eastern Pavillion in Setauket...

Love shoguun on austin blvd. the one on long beach road..the new one is umi.

Shiro's is really good! I've been there with a large party and was seated at two or three hibachi tables next to each other.

The new place in Oceanside is called UMI-its really good and a nice place!
