Jax430, goldi and other jewish girls...
we went to bed bath and beyond today. i saw a little section of hanukah stuff. they had a beauitful table cloth with matching napkins

Thanks for the info Gail! We're having both of our families over for Chanukah (15 people ), and I could use a nice tablecloth.
so are we. we're also having 2 friends over. we got one at party city but this one is so much nice. i'm making a turkey dinner with matzo ball soup and latkes. hopefully everyone makes up the next day

I was there today too and fell in love with another electric menorah. It had little tiny lights.

Thanks Gail! I may head on over there. I want to buy hand towels for the kitchen.
I had gone to AC Moore today and found it rather odd that I could not locate so much as ONE cookie cutter in the shape of a dreidel or anything other than stickers for a scrapbooking page related to Chanukah. I know that I am not a decorator for holidays, but when you live in NY,you sort of expect a little diversity.

Last year I went after Chanukah hoping to get the tablecloths etc for cheap and they were all gone.

My friends gave me a platter from the Hallmark store with a recipe for latkes printed on it. I can't wait to break it out! Id love to have a Chanukah party but every weekend in December is booked for us.

I haven't checked out party city yet. I was in Amazing Savings and they had inexpensive Chanukah paper goods, so I bought stuff there. I know that if I go to party city, I'll find stuff that I like better!
