Jazzercise
I went to the one in Nesconset today and have to admit it was alot of fun and they have babysitting

good for you michelle ! I agree that its fun, and full of energy, but for the price (I think commack was close to $50 per month) to work out in one room, shoulder to shoulder  SUPER CROWDED with old members "claiming their space" IMMEDILATELY) I would rather spend that much on a big gym with a pool/other options, etc. they do have cool classes though!

I have a lifetime membership to Bally's but I wanted to try something new and since Jenna can use the babysitting I figured why not

dont most clubs have babysitting ?
the Lucille Roberts by me, this is totally retarded, babies cant use the babysitting till they are walking!  so Isaid what about when a mom has baby # 2 or 3  they were like "well the one in massapequa allows all ages" thanks geniuses, sure I'll drive 30 miles for that

Bally's requires them to be 2, but the woman who does the childcare at Jazzercise is a complete doll, I met her yesterday, she in an older woman the kids call Grandma Rose

It's on Lake Ave in Nesonset betwwen 347 and Middle Country Road. they have Step classes, Body Sculpting and Jazzercise which is routines choreographed to specific music, followed by floor work with hand weights.
They have a few different price points

I go during the week in the mornings and it is not crowded at all. And there are so many more young mothers going these days. I met a few already. Some even bring their infants in strollers and just park the stroller along the wall while they work out... I love it!!!
