Jeans size question
Stupid question.... What is size 28 in jeans? Is it the equivalent of a size 6, 8, etc?

I think it depends on the brand. Some of my jeans are 28's and some are 27's and in some pants I wear a 6 and in others a 4. I think you need to try the brand on first to see if it runs small or big.

Liza, a 28 is a 6. I definately know that because I went to Lucky today and all of the 28s fit me. I told dh they would NEVER fit, but he made me try and they did!!!

Awesome Stephanie!!!! I was curious because my younger stepdaughter thought I was a size 8. I never talk about size around them because I don't want that to be important. I happen to be a 4-6, but she heard me mention I was a size 8 after I gave birth, so she must have thought that was my size. She told my sil who has no idea about sizes, who bought me chip and pepper jeans. They fit so well, and she said they were a size 8. I thought they ran small, but the ticket inside said 28. I was just curious...
