But she doesn't need money -- according to reports, she's worth tons.

From what I read, she has an estimated $15 million. Rupert Murdoch is worth approximately $12.5 BILLION. So, I stand by my comment.

This isn't directed AT you like in an "attack" or anything but I hate these comments Part of me just shakes my head. IDK, just because she is a woman who is younger than him and is worth less than him doesn't mean she is only after him for his money.
Think about it, first the age -- at their ages... Yeah, he's a lot older than her but once you get around 60 -- anything above that, what's the difference??
And, once you are dealing with 14-15++ million dollars -- at that point, what's the difference?? She has more than enough money. And yes, he has moooreeeee than enough money. But rich is rich. IDK, I don't see it. And whenever he dies, which I mean, he's not a young man so it'll be SOMETIME in the next 15 years or less, most likely, he has a GAGGLE of kids to leave that money to -- I just don't see her as really making out on the deal or it mattering to her that much because at the amount she's worth, who cares??
It's like me and my boyfriend and maybe this is why I'm sensitive to it -- he is fifteen years older than me. I'm 31, he is 46. He makes lets just say 10 dollars, I make 5. But, to put it into perspective my five dollars -- I'm doing well. I support myself and my son, I have a condo, I have everything covered with some breathing room. I'm doing well for myself. Now, of course because he makes ten dollars he's doing VERY well for himself. But that doesn't mean I'm with him because I want to get to the point where I get some of that VERY wellness, kwim??
So, I don't know if I'm really explaining this well but that's how I see it -- we just don't know what really is drawing them to each other and I used to be QUITE the cynic until I met my SO and now I really believe in things like age, money, and backgrounds, race, etc.... that alllll that stuff doesn't really matter when it comes to two people who just CLICK, for some reason.
I know it is cheesy but I want to believe it's real

She has her own money
And I would imagine there is a prenup when it comes to this kind of money.

Exactly. And I'm sure she knows that. So that's why I don't think gold Digger is applicable

I have nothing against age differences. My parents have a rather large age difference. But they have been married for over 40 years.
This is why I said what I said, and it's not the age gap - I think with his very advanced age, his ridiculous fortune, the incredibly short relationship before getting engaged, I question if it's real love. If I had 15 million, I think an additional few BILLION dollars for me and my children sure would be nice. But what do I care really? To each his own.

honestly either one, at their age they are both rich as anything, as others said there will be prenups, if you are truly in love and want to be with each other than be with each other, its not like they are going to start a family together, not that that's the only reason to get married, just as example I personally wouldn't bother getting married I would just be happy together

I agree with this line of thought.
