Seriously?!?!
Jerry Sandusky's new lawyer offered up an interesting possible explanation for the former Penn State defensive coordinator's habits of showering with young boys.
"Some of these kids don't have basic hygiene skills," attorney Karl Rominger, who recently joined Sandusky's defense team, told Harrisburg's abc27 News Tuesday. "Teaching a person to shower at the age of 12 or 14 sounds strange to some people, but people who work with troubled youth will tell you there are a lot of juvenile delinquents and people who are dependent who have to be taught basic life skills, like how to put soap on their body."

What? They don't have families that taught them anything???? They were on a sports team but didn't have any family members who cared enough about them to teach them hygiene? COME ON NOW CRAZY OLD MAN, what a joke to even use this defense.

i find this whole so incredibly disturbing and a slap in the face to the poor victims. the only thing about this pathetic excuse for a defense is that he'll most likely be found GUILTY and be put far far away!!

Unfortunately, I think the sicko would enjoy that. I think a judge should put a gag order on this perv. I think it is so wrong that he keeps talking, digging the knife in deeper to all the boys he hurt. I get so skeeved just looking at him on TV.

his lawyers needto STFU b/c I get that everyone is entitled to a defense, but they dont need to do this publicly. What a mockery they are making of this whole situation.
i heard this on GMA this morning and was disgusted that this came out of someone's mouth.
