Re: Jessica Alba and daughter Honor
She keeps holding the baby away from her like that. She seems uncomfortable to me.

They look very cute. I just wish she'd take the scarf off.

I don't think anything has annoyed me so much as Jessica Alba and the way she holds her child! She looks so unnatural and she made it pretty clear that the pregnancy was a mistake and that she was mad b/c she was going to get fat and her body wasn't going to be perfect for 9 months.
So to see her hold the baby like this makes me think she is not putting much effort in to being a mother (I am not saying she doesn't love her child, I just think this is not really her "thing").

Re: Jessica Alba and daughter Honor
actually some children just prefer to be held that way, my neice who is about the same age as honor cries if she is held facing the body, she just prefers to look forward...I dont think it has anything to do with her ability to parent or be a mother, and trust me Alba is one celeb i cant stand but this is a stupid thing to critisize her for...
she looks pretty happy to be a mom here ....Alba HAPPY

Re: Jessica Alba and daughter Honor
I hold my son like that all the time and I love being a mom. He is just so nosey and wants to see everything around him. They are close in age.
I am not an Alba fan either but maybe she hates the fact that there are cameras taking pictures of her pregnant and her child. I mean, not everyone feels great when they are pregnant. Some pregancies are harder then others. Doesn't mean you don't want the child.

Well, I hope she is happy, she is very lucky to have a beautiful daughter, but her body language looks to me like she feels awkward and uncomfortable.

ITA!!! My son loves to face foward in my arms as well, and he's a BIG boy, so its easier for me to hold him that way.

I love the chunky thighs!! So cute! I like Jessica Alba...I'm not feeling the unhappy vibe from her even though everyone always says she doesn't smile much.

are you serious? how did she make it clear that she was mad that she got "fat" for 9 months (which, in my opinion, she didnt - i thought she looked great pregnant) because she hates being chased around by paparazzi? because she doesnt smile for their cameras? is that your basis for assuming she was mad about pregnancy?
im guessing, based on pics of her with her gorgeous, apparently well taken care of daughter, that caring and loving her IS her "thing"
